About 18″. Cloth, stuffing, yarn, porcelain, wire.

*For those who didn’t grow up Catholic, here’s a “monstrance.”

So Much Baggage

11X14. Velvet, Antique Dolly Bloomers, Ye Olde Newspaper, Synthetic hair, Alpaca yarn, Oil,

Guarding Infinity

18X18. Mixed Burlap on wood frame. Paper, acrylic, ink, oil, mod podge, antique iron skeleton keys, 1940s costume jewelry, wire, polymer clay, SOLD. Note: original piece was not crooked, and we’re missing some of the edge work. Buyer sent me photo.

Book of Dreams

14X16 upcycled scrapbook assemblage: Wood, leaves, twine, tintype, antique trinkets. PagesĀ  heavy “toothy” stock, separated individually by rice paper. SOLD but will contract one more to buyer’s specifications, as I have only a single scrapbook/album to upcycle.

*Note: the three images below are truer to the actual color of the artbook. The top has been “shopped” in an effort to tone down the shine/glare of the tintype, which was tough to for me to accurately photograph in the light. Book is more antique-y, less garish.

Home Is Where I Want to Be

24X36 Canvas. SOLD but the others I’ve posted are still available. Guest starring acrylic, oil, cloth, ink, watercolor, random glossy cut-outs, crushed mica, embellished antique key, and some pages from a busted 17th century Spanish bible. Focal pages are 1 Corinthians 13. We all know the one:

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
